BIOGRAPHY AND ACHIEVEMENTS

Born in Lyon, Sylvain was trained in Applied Arts practice at the École Supérieure des Arts et Techniques – ESAT, Paris – and at the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle – ENSCI – Les Ateliers, Paris.

 

Since 1998, in agencies and then in his own studio, he has held numerous temporary or permanent exhibitions:

 

- in France, notably at the the Galeries Nationales du Grand-Palais, the MUCEM-Marseilles, the Arab World Institute, the Centre Pompidou-Metz, the Cité d’Architecture et du Patrimoine, the Cinémathèque Française, the Musée de l’Armée-Invalides, the Musée d’Orsay, the Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie, the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Lyon, the Musée National de la Marine, the Bellevue (Biarritz), the Atelier Renault-Champs-Élysée (Paris), the Espace Landowsky (Boulogne), the Musée d’Histoire Naturelle de Nîmes, …

He creates events scenographies for the communications agencies AUDITOIRE, VILLA D’ALESIA & Co., L.O.V.E., …

 

He elaborates product design studies for the groups Habitat (Paris), PGO Automobiles (Alès, France), Yamaha Motors Company (Tokyo, Japon), Ferraz-Carbone Lorraine (Lyon, France), …

 

He won the design competitions Habitat (1998) and Dupont de Nemours (1996).

 

At the present time, in parallel with his agency in Paris, part of his activity as a designer takes shape in his studios in Hyères (France), where he tests, experiments and expands his reflexions.
